Snowy Day

It's here! The weather man on the tv yesterday was giving plenty of warning that there would be snow today and all the way through Wednesday. There isn't going to be a lot of snow, 6-10", but the problem will be the wind tonight and tomorrow. The wind is going to cause the snow to blow making it hard to see and also making snow drifts across the roads making it hard to drive.

I tried counting the flakes as they fell but there were too many.

I told MiniME, my kittie toy that I got for Christmas, that the mom would be staying home all the day long with us and that the dad would be working at home today in his office. We both like it a lot when everyone is home. If we play our cards right maybe the mom will take a nap with us. Oh, we don't really play cards that is just a saying.

We got a little tired while watching all the auction outside and decided to take a nap before the nap with mom. It is a hard working job being a weather kittie. Before MiniME and I started with the zzzzs I told her all about how I was an outside kittie once but that today is definately a day I am so happy to be an inside kittie and never want to go outside again. Life is great!

I am hoping that the mom might even work for me today. I have a lot of friends I want to visit with that came to my Super Bowl party the other day.

Bowler Award from Spot & Fiona

Oh, important and I need to share before I get the nap in. There is an award, first ever Bowler Award, for all that was involved with Fiona's Fundraiser Auction. If you were a bidder or donated those fantastic items that went on the block Harry & Fiona have an award for you. You will need to go over to their place to pick yours up. I also want to thank all that helped with the auction. We couldn't have done it without all of you!

Now it's time to rest.

Gracie I wish I was there to snuggle with you and keep you warm! It is snowing here too - we have the same problem - not too bad (at least compared to other areas) but blowing expected. But my mom had to go into work today because she can't work from home - maybe if we are lucky they will close early and she can come home and nap with all of us.

I am very glad you aren't an outside kitty anymore - you are too beautiful to be out in this yucky weather!

Smooches!!

I think snuggling is a good thing to do while it snows. We are jealous as it's been unseasonably warm here and we are starting to worry about what summer will be like if we don't get more snow in the mountains!

You are so cute snuggling with your kittie that looks like you! We are expecting more snow here in the DC area too (as if we aren't inundated already) and our mom is totally staying in today. She says she stocked up on kittie food and litter, so we're good.

Gracie, you and mini-me look very sweet together. Thanks again for throwing such a fun party, even if our team didn't win.

Stay warm today!

Hope the weather treats you well, Gracie. Wind and snow together can be very dangerous. Stay safe and warm.

Yes, watching and predicting the weather can be very tiring. It can change very quickly. Better to get some zzzzs than try to count the flakes.

As long as you are at home with your loved ones, let it snow ... let it snow ... let it snow! It's keeping them home with you, so time to all snuggle up together and keep warm (including Mini you)!

I'm so happy to see you enjoying your cuddly toy. You two make a very nice couple.

You look so cute snuggled up with Mini-ME. Stay warm and safe. I am also very glad that you aren't an outside kitty any more. It snowed most of the day here, but it has finally stopped.

I love your mini-me! Now you have a snuggle buddy. Even 6 inches of snow can be a pain, especially when it blows around. Stay safe and warm.
