STOP!!!

Stop if you buy Iams dry kittie food!
There is a voluntary recall on that.
I don't know if that is for the doggie food too.

The mom took me to the vet yesterday and saw there was a sign there saying that there was an voluntary recall on the Iams dry food.
I want to help get the word out so those that are using it can check things out.
I don't have any details on it but you can for sure get the information from your local vet or even on line.

When I was little the mom researched the food available and came to the conclusion that Blue Buffalo was the best for me. It is all 100% natural with no fillers, can you believe it real whole chicken breast is in it!!
It is very yummy and they have many different kinds, indoor cats, outdoor cats,
weight control, for older cats, etc.
I don't get paid to indorse Blue Buffalo just letting you know what I use.
There have been so many recalls with the foods I just want you to be aware and be safe.
If you are on Iams please check it out!!
Also pass the information along to all of your friends!

Hi Gracie! That is such a beautiful picture of you! I love that you are letting us know about the recall - we have some but it wasn't within the recall lots when mom checked - but it sounds like maybe she should check again (although we have eaten most of it already and are fine, so it is probably ok - we know it was recalled for salmonella - I thought it was some kind of fish at first (like a lady salmon) but mom explained it!)

I am excited that you are thinking of doing the paw it forward with us - I will email you the info so you can decide!!

Oh, we are doing a very special Friends on Friday this week - you will be in it so you know. Be sure and come by if you have time - I know you are super busy with auction stuff.

Smooches!!

Thank you so much for passing this info along to us. We eat Nine Lives Daily Essentials (it's the only food we can all agree on). But, we will spread the word!

You're very fortunate to get fed so well. Jan wishes she could feed us as well, but she can't afford it and it isn't sold in our area anyway. sigh

That is a cute photo of you Gracie. We don't have Iams. We only get wet food now, but it is very good of you to warn all those who may be getting it.

Thanks for the word, Gracie. It won't affect us, since we haven't eaten Iams since the big recall back in 2007 (or so). But we are glad the word is out.

I have a bag of half eaten Iams in the kitchen. We don't think it is part of the recall, but mom isn't going to take a chance. I have some Royal Canin Persian 30 dry food and I love the Blue Buffalo canned food.
