The mom and dad here are so good about bringing me home toys when they return from the pet store. I really appreciate the news toys but I don't have the heart to tell them that one of my favorite toys is a box. You can have so much fun playing with the boxes. You can climb inside of them, jump into them, jump over them, hide in them, and when you are tired of playing you can snuggle down and catch some zzzzzs.
Keep this our secret as I don't want to hurt the folk's feelings and besides I do like the toys that they bring home to me.

Do you know Socks, Scylla, and Artemisia? They have a box with a lawnmower wheel in it and they were wishing it had toys. We told then they could have fun playing in the box when the humans took out the wheel.
Toys are nice, but sometimes it is more fun to just use the imagination.
