My mom had minor surgery on her pointer finger on Tuesday making this week's blogging visits, how shall I say this, interesting. The mom had a big bandage on her finger making typing for her difficult. Her typing speed was way down and oh so many typos.
I tried to help the mom out and gave things a try myself but that didn't work out too goo. My paws kept hitting the keys I wanted and also the keys next to those making my typing errors worse than the mom. I even tried the think typing, that is where you think the letter you want and it appears, but that didn't work. I worked so hard at this that I had to keep fighting sleep . . .
. . . then I had an idea. My daddie has a computer and I thought I would get him to work for me. I went over to him and he was working on his stuff, which I thought was rude, but figured that when he was done he would notice me and ask what I wanted . . .
. . . well as luck would have it the phone rang and he got busy on the phone. He took so long talking that I had time to take a nap . . .
. . . I got so impatient that I even used laser eyes on him, thinking that this would speed things up, and he would focus his attention to me. That didn't work . . . he just doesn't get it . . I new that my best bet would be to keep taking care of mom . . .
. . . that way she would get her boo boo finger feeling better and would soon be able to work for me again. She could tell by the look on my face that I was upset about something but I didn't let her know that daddie ignored me, she wouldn't like that.
Mom is doing pretty good with healing and the big bandage is gone replaced by a band aid on her finger making the typing much easier for her. I won't over work her but it is nice that she is back to work for me part time. Now that Ihave her on being back to as good as new soon I am wondering how I can get the dad to work for me when I need him too.
ps: Please if you could vote for me in Hansel's contest the clickie thingie is up on my sidebar. There is one more day left to vote, thanks.
