My mom had minor surgery on her pointer finger on Tuesday making this week's blogging visits, how shall I say this, interesting. The mom had a big bandage on her finger making typing for her difficult. Her typing speed was way down and oh so many typos.
I tried to help the mom out and gave things a try myself but that didn't work out too goo. My paws kept hitting the keys I wanted and also the keys next to those making my typing errors worse than the mom. I even tried the think typing, that is where you think the letter you want and it appears, but that didn't work. I worked so hard at this that I had to keep fighting sleep . . .
. . . then I had an idea. My daddie has a computer and I thought I would get him to work for me. I went over to him and he was working on his stuff, which I thought was rude, but figured that when he was done he would notice me and ask what I wanted . . .
. . . well as luck would have it the phone rang and he got busy on the phone. He took so long talking that I had time to take a nap . . .
. . . I got so impatient that I even used laser eyes on him, thinking that this would speed things up, and he would focus his attention to me. That didn't work . . . he just doesn't get it . . I new that my best bet would be to keep taking care of mom . . .
. . . that way she would get her boo boo finger feeling better and would soon be able to work for me again. She could tell by the look on my face that I was upset about something but I didn't let her know that daddie ignored me, she wouldn't like that.
Mom is doing pretty good with healing and the big bandage is gone replaced by a band aid on her finger making the typing much easier for her. I won't over work her but it is nice that she is back to work for me part time. Now that Ihave her on being back to as good as new soon I am wondering how I can get the dad to work for me when I need him too.
ps: Please if you could vote for me in Hansel's contest the clickie thingie is up on my sidebar. There is one more day left to vote, thanks.

Purrs that your servants finger gets better so she can type for you!
We are hoping your mom's finger will be better soon and then you can start being bossy again Gracie - cos we find our mum much better organised when we're a lttle bit bossy!!
Gracie, we're glad your mom's finger is getting better and we're continuing to send her healing purrs!
As for your dad, well...! He needs a good whap with claws extended to smarten him up. MOL!
We are working on the 'think typing' but so far, no luck. Let us know if you figure it out. Sure would be nice to not have to depend on Mom to visit our furiends! Glad your Mom is doing better!
Happy Friday,

I'm glad your Mom is making healing progress, you take good care of her sweet Gracie!
So good to see you helping Mom so much. We hope things get back to normal soon. Your Dad looks like a very nice man, guess he was just a little busy that day.
BTW, we don't stress too much about "stuff" - our post was our way of leading in to the big global event.
Have a great weekend.
You are such a good girl, Gracie, taking care of your mommy like that! We will go vote for you now. :)
Gracie, we think maybe your Dad needs a little tiny bitey...just to remind him who's the Boss!
The think typing never works for us, either...so we're purring for your Mom's finger to heal up soon. With your good nursing we are sure it will!
I am glad your mom is feeling better with her boo boo finger. Your dad, however, needs a good talkin to. Imagine goofing off like that when he could have been helping you with your internets.

We hope your mom's finger is feeling better soon. Geez, that daddie of yours sure is useless! Doesn't he know that you need to blog and visit your furiends??
It's hard getting things done when your human's finger surgery gets in the way! I hope it heals soon so you can get her back working for you properly again.
Perhaps you have to resign to the fact that your dad is too busy with his work and is not likely to help you blog. Good try though.
Purrs to your mom. We hope that she will be better very soon and help you with the all important task of blogging. Tell my SS that, will you? She has no problem with her fingers and is still not helping me visit and post.
gracie - the maid said you have a lot to learn about human males.
meanwhile: that taking care of the mom looks good, i'd just keep on doing that!

We're glad your mom's finger is healing. Your dad should be ashamed for ignoring you, though. Tsk, tsk.
We haven't even been by to check on the votes. But we know we aren't winning. We wish you luck.
Your Dad needs just a little bit of a poke with on of your claws. That would get his attention. At least that's what we think. If you do it just once, he will never ignore you again!
Good luck in Hansel's contest Gracie. We are in it too but we are way behind in the voting.
Good on you for trying to help!!! Yep, have cast my vote in Hansels contest.....
