All the news folks were talking about it and saying that it was to arrive on Tuesday and I put two and two together and knew that it was coming from outside. I thought I would check things out and see if I would to be the first to spot it, whatever it was.

February 2~Round two of the storm
In the morning of the next day the monster was still here, this blizzard was here to stay. Our county was under a Level 1 warning which means that unless you are an emergency worker you must not be out in your cars. The wind was still blowing and making a racket still. Sometime in the afternoon the monster got quieter and then finally went away, I don't know where it went but I sure was happy that it was gone.
When it was time for the folks to start thinking about digging out the nice neighbor across the street came into the driveway with his truck and plowed almost all of the snow out of their way. They were beyond happy when he did this and called his house with many thanks of appreciation.
I didn't like all of the noise that the monster blizzard made so the mom put a nice comfy blankie in the masterbedroom closet for me to snuggle down on. It is nice and quiet in there, almost sound proof plus it is nice and warm. She kept checking on me to see if I was OK. As you can see this worked out purrrfectly for me. The mom is going to keep the blankie there for me and I am thinking is my new found favorite sleepy place. Do you know that when she turns off the light in there it is such a fantastic catcave! Love it.
Today, Thursday, the weather is cold beyond cold. Please keep the furries in your purryers who live outside that they will find food, shelter, and be safe. And be sure you all stay safe!! Oh, if you need me I will be in my catcave.

That is a terrific catcave Gracie and we are glad the blizzard has blown away. Stay safe and warm and we hope your parents stay safe and warm too. xoxo
Gracie, we hope that's it for blizzards for 2011! We might just have to teleport over and join you in your cosy catcave!
Oh, Gracie, can I come over and stay in your great CatCave?
It's going to snow here!!! In the warm gulf of Mexico!!!!
Starting a few hours.
It's kind of exciting, really, but too cold for mine paws.
Love your wonderful cave.
Love & Purrs,
KC
We are purring hard. It has been VERY cold there!
It is a terrible worry to think of all the furries who have no homes in this weather. May some kind souls leave out food and put in place shelter for them.
We're glad you are safe and warm! We got the blizzard, too, but only for 1 day. We didn't get as much snow as they predicted but still got a foot at least. And what a nice neighbor you have!! The snow plow piled all his snow behind where our mom needed to get out of the garage! My mom called him some colorful words we're not allowed to repeat.
That looks like a perfect CatCave Gracie. Sure glad that ole blizzard left and you are all safe. We are sending up prayers for all the outside critters. Hugs and nose kisses.
Wow Gracie, your drive way is almost as bad as ours! We like your little st up in the closet.
That is a great cat cave Gracie. We are glad you are safe and warm. We are also worried about the poor homeless furries and hope they can find somewhere safe to shelter from the cold and snow.
Gracie, if that isn't a look of pure bliss, then we don't know what is. Sam tries to get into our mom's closet but she's faster getting to the door than he is. I mean, just because he has all that longgggg fur and she has a lot of black stuff in there, you'd think she'd be happy to have our scent all over her clothes. Wait, maybe it's the fur. Uh oh.
We're relieved to see your post. We were worried your electricity was off. Stay warm and enjoy the extra time with your family.

That blizzard sounds like it was really scary! I am glad you made it through all right! I hope all the animals outside have found shelter from the cold.
What a purrfect little catcave, Gracie!! Stay warm and safe there <3 We are purring for anipals who live outside too.
Hi Gracie! Wow, we are sorry you got hit with the blizzard too! We hoped it would miss you. I wish I had been there to keep you from being afraid of the noises - it is good your mom was with you to make sure you were ok! I am so excited because mom can visit a bit more again, so I will be able to see you more often!!
Sending lots of hugs and smooches!!

You know we really love the snow, but we all understand how dangerous this storm was for so many. We are glad you are safe. Isn't it nice to have wonderful neighbors like that? Your home is beautiful. Our Dad would love a nice long driveway like yours.

Sounds scary, that blizzard monster! You stay warm and snuggly inside, sissy!
SS and gran were hoping the weatherman was wrong with the recent cyclone that hot Queensland. Too bad he was right even to the hour!~
I am eating a little more but not nearly enough. So I am always tired and not moving much. Still staying indoors since the heat wave is continuing.
glad you are safe and sound. We only got nearly 10 inches...considerably less than they were forecasting for us but it has been horribly cold like it is for you too xoxo
Gracie, it was like that at our house too. At least there was one good thing to come out of this blizzard, you found yourself a great napping spot!!
Stay warm!!
A catcave with a BOOTIFUL lady in it? I want one of those!!
