A Birthday Party For Opus

The cat was, as they say, almost let out of the bag yesterday when Opus showed up a day early wondering all about the birthday decorations. We explained that we were getting ready for Sock's birthday and do you believe it but he fell for that explanation. Phew.

Today is the big celebration as my nephew, Opus, celebrates his 16th birthday!

The gang was waiting in anticipation as Olive teleported over with Opus for his big day. We jumped out yelling "SURPRISE"! We did it . . . Opus didn't have a clue . . . Thanks Olive for getting him here.!

. . . Because of Opus's delicate condition at this time Olive is overseeing the food preparation to make sure special attention is given to the food presented at the party. No tummy troubles today are needed.

Head on over to the buffet table, there is plenty to eat and something there that you will enjoy.

Karl sent special for Opus's birthday delicious candy imported from Italy. Trust me you just cannot eat one.

After all of the surprises, visiting with many friends and eating way too much Olive is asking that Opus take a little time out and read his birthday cards. Olive keeps a close watch on Opus making sure he maintains his health and doesn't over do.
