Question number two ~ Which one of us is the smartest? The one looking off into who knows what or the one focused on the picture taking?
Question number three ~ Why is she holding me and not letting me get down !? Can she really not tell by the look on my face that I don't want to be held! Geeeeee!

Well, if you paid attention to question number one, you'd know she sure as heck ain't looking at you or the camera, so how did you expect her to be able to tell what your face is saying? Gracie, sometimes my Mom looks a little away from the camera because she thinks that gives less red eye. Whatever!

I think your Mom is looking at the person taking the picture. You are the smarter one, of course. Your Mom just wanted to hold you long enough for the picture to be taken. I bet she let you go as soon as it was done.
