Summer Time

It's the hot hot summer time and not much for the humans to do but to take to the water . . .

Cara, our grandbean, has been spending a couple of days here and everyone seems to head out the back door and into a hole in the ground. I don't get it but they seem to enjoy it. I have been asked and also trained as a life guard to protect those while they are swimming . . . many hours of lessons and testing before I became a certified life guard . . . I take this job seriously and with this job comes great responsibilities.

No don't jump to the wrong idea about my job as a life guard . . . it looks like I am well  . . .I know it looks like I am sleeping but I can explain this away. There are several possibilities here: 1. The sun is too bright and I am squinting my eyes. Even though they looked closed I can see all that is going on. 2. I am doing the think method. This is where I think that all is well and it will be well. 3. I have a relif guard and I am on break. 4. There is another human life guard not in the photo. 5. Ok, I'll give you the truth. Now this is just between you an me right? The sun got to me as it usually does and I am sleeping. Arghhh! I tried to fight it but couldn't. But I would not have given in if I thought they were in danger. I know the folks are good life guards and don't mind taking over for me. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
