Gracie & Tamir enjoying the rare Blue Moon
Tamir and I teleported in early to make sure we wouldn't miss the rare Blue Moon, the next one will be July 2015.
Neil Alden Armstrong
August 5, 1930-August 25, 2012
As I gaze at this beautiful sight I think of Neil Armstrong, the first man that stepped on the face of the moon, who was put to rest this Friday. How appropriate that the Blue Moon is here on this date. I salute a brave pioneer in America's space program, you are a true hero.

We join your salute.
You and Tamir look so romantic there. Mommy is old enough to remember watching when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. Our family greatly admired him and all the astronauts.

How very appropriate! We love that picture of you and Tamir!
Glogirly's dad had the privilege of working in NASA's mission control during many of the Apollo missions, including Apollo 11. He was right there watching Mr. Armstrong on the big screen when he took that first step and when they splashed back down to home. Neil Armstrong was a hero to so many boys and girls of the 60's. RIP.
xo, Katie
He would have liked the Blue moon as much as you and Tamir did.
