Olympic Ceremonies, A Parade, & An Event

The Opening Extravaganza, bloopers, is fun event being hosted by Roo and I must say he caught a lot of us in a blooper or two.

I have been training for many months now and working on getting my upper body strength up for the Olympics. I am trying to increase my chances of lifting by using my hind paws, cause the front ones are not able to do it on their own, but the thingie I am lifting seems to be winning.

Arghhhh! What to do!!!!???? Please let's just keep this between us OK?

While Tamir and I were heading over the the Olylmpic village we posed with two of the Olympic mascots for some photos. They were really quite nice! We made plans to meet up later with them.

Wednesday Warning

I have a warning for all of the humans out there that are worried about . . . well . . . those extra pounds . . . I heard the mom and her friend talking about this the other day and here is what was said . . .

WARNING TO US ALL!!

 

SHAMPOO WARNING

I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner!

I use shampoo in the shower!

When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs

down my whole body,

Printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning,

"FOR EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME

No wonder I have been gaining weight!

Well! I have gotten rid of that shampoo and I am

going to start showering with Dawn dish soap instead.

It's label reads, "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS

OTHERWISE  DIFFICUT TO REMOVE."

Problem solved!!

ps:  Pass this on to your human and let me know if this approach is working

ppss: I really don't think this is going to solve the weight gain problem but one can always try and hope.

Mom's Happy Birthday

It's my mommie's birthday and we are celebrating with the whole family all weekend. Lots of cuddle time, laughter, love, and fun!

My gift to mom this birthday is letting her snuggle me or give me as much loving as she wants to. Actually, I am not sure if she is the one that is getting the gift or is it me?

Wishing the mom many, many, many, times many more years of birthday to come.

I cannot believe that it has been three wonderful years since I found the folks. Boy oh boy, did I ever pick out a wonderful family to own. They were so trainable! Easy as pie. We three have a special connection and life is soooooo good!

Spending the day taking it easy and you all are welcome to just hang out and catch some zzzzs with me all the day long. Snacks and drinks are in the refrig, hellp yourself.

Little Bit & Me

As mentioned in my previous post I did say that Little Bit arrived for his first visit last week. I have been told that he is the baby brother of Cara. Cara and I are great friends but I must say I don't understand the baby part. Anyway here is our first meeting.

You can imagine my surprise when I went into the folks and my bedroom when I found what the family calls the baby laying on my bed. I wasn't sure what a baby was as I have never met one before. You see when I first knew Cara she was a small child of three . . .

. . . this baby was so small but a lot of noises would come out of him . . . I had to be cautious  as I wasn't sure what this baby could do to me . . .

. . . with all the strange noises coming out of him and the grandparents and parents jumping up when they would hear him cry I knew his powers were strong so I had to activate my laser eyes for my protection, not to worry though as I didn't use them on him . . .

. . . the mom explained to me that all children start out this way, even the dad and she (hard to believe huh?). With that being said I deactivated the laser eyes and just settled down to watch the little fellow. All of a sudden I felt it! He looked at me and I looked at him. Our eyes met and we watched each other. In that moment of silence between us we both knew then and there that we were family and would loved each other dearly. Though I still don't understand a lot about the baby behavior stuff I know one day that here is a sourse of someone else able to give me hugs, loves, and all the treats that they can find to give me. This is going to work. Oh I knew I will have to wait a while for him to be up and about but I am a very patient kittie.
Yes, we love Little Bit bunches and are looking forward to wonderful times shared with him.
