Baby It's Cold Outside

What's with this cold weather?

We have a high of only 10 degrees, if we are lucky.

Wind chills going to be 5 to 15 below zero.

 

Our family is staying inside and keeping warm. The mom here is the bestest of the best as she has made me a new bed to keep warm in. Do you see me? Look real close. It is a blankie right next to her chair. Just love spending time so near her.

This blankie is my pink one and it is really very soft and fluffy.  Where mom put the blankie is such a neat idea. Not only is it near her when she isn't running around the house, she doesn't really run around the house but you know what I mean, my blankie . . .

 

is on heat register that is on the floor. There is all sorts of warm air coming out of that thing the whole day long. Doesn't she have the greatest of ideas?

Please if you have to go out and are in the cold areas of the country protect yourself and cover up as much of you as you can. If you have outside animals take extra care to make sure that they are warm.

Phew

Phew, the holiday season of 2012 has officially ended at our place. We love having the company and going places but oh how nice it is to be just the three of us once again. The house is so quiet making it purrrfect for some nap time. The folks and I are soon to snuggle down for a much deserved long nap.
